Memorare to Saint Joseph Prayer Cards

Part of our Dominicards range. 
 
-This portrait of St Joseph was painted as a commission for one of our generous Dominicards patrons. Sr Lucy completed the painting in watercolour, inspired by St Joseph leading the flight of the Holy Family to Egypt. The Memorare to St Joseph is adapted from the traditional prayer to Our Lady. By praying it, we remember the trust that our Blessed Mother and the Christ Child placed in St Joseph as the head of the Holy Family, and we ask to be placed under the same protection.
 
Sr Lucy completed the prayer in traditional calligraphy using a dip pen and indigo and yellow ink, to complement the colours of the front image.
